新年，通常大家會做的就是吃、吃、還有不停的吃。新年的主題不是拜年或逗利是，而是一些你平日不會吃的﹝美﹞食物。
媽心血來潮說要做糯米糍，我也興致勃勃的和議，因為我也很想學做糯米糍... 但原來大家對糯米糍一詞的理解大有不同...
「很容易的嗎？」
「真的很容易... 稍捏一下，丟進水裏煮煮就好了...」
「糯米糍真的是這樣子的一回事嗎？」
「正是。你還想怎樣？」
「hmmmm....」
「我可以一邊敷着面膜一邊學做嗎？省時間呢...」
「當然可以了...」
過了半晌。
「唓... 原來是新加坡的麻糬....我還以為是街邊賣的，一個圓圓的那種...」
Anyway，小徒弟還是跟着大師傅學做麻糬去了。
真的如媽說的一樣容易。就是捏幾把，放進水裏煮片刻，在鑊裏下點油煎一下，就差不多好了。
晚上十一時許。
「嘩... 很香....要來一點嗎？」媽引不住讚自己。
「但...我最近吃的實在太多了....今天也吃了許多...不行了...」
用線把麻糬切成粒粒，灑上芝麻粉，我們的「糯米糍」大功告成了~！

數日前。
「媽，我有想過... 你說把朱古力包在湯圓裏，然後拿去煮... 那些朱古力在煮時在湯圓裏融化...咬下去的時
候朱古力會流出來... hmmmm.... 你說這樣子會好吃嗎？」
「應該是可以的！你要試試看嗎？家裏有的是糯米粉。」
「嘩，我隨便說說而已....」
想不到，媽還是蠻認真的。就在做麻糬之前。
「來，把粉開好後，你就把餡料放在中間，然後就像平日搓湯圓一像... 這裏有花生，還是你要朱古力？家裏有朱古力....」
「等等，我們不是要學做糯米糍嗎？？」
「但你不是要包有餡的湯圓嗎？」
「..........」
結果，我們還是搓了好幾顆「有餡湯圓」來自娛。真的蠻巨型的...媽在煮麻糬時，順手也把這些湯圓煮了...
「好吃啊~ 比利川的好吃得多了~ 食物，始終還是自己做的好吃。
